How to batch rename files on your PC

Note: the files have to be the same file type in order to be renamed all at once.

Launch Windows Explorer on your PC.

Locate the files you want to rename.
Shift-click to select multiple files.

Hit the F2 button.
Type the new file name in the selected file and press ENTER.

All the files will have the same new file name, plus a number in parentheses. e.g. MyDog(1).jpg, MyDog(2).jpg
