How to batch rename files on your MacNote: the files have to be the same file type in order to be renamed all at once. STEP 1Launch Finder on your Mac. STEP 2Click on the Action button at the top of the Finder window. STEP 3Select “Rename (x number) Items. STEP 4Complete Custom Format field to format your new file names as required.
